Recruitment Packets
As Diligent continued to grow, it became clear that they needed a nicely packaged set of resources that would both inform and attract prospective employees. I created their Recruitment Packet, for US and UK candidates, to showcase their benefits and perks. Below features the US version.
In my research I reviewed the following blogs and articles: Namely, Kin HR, Rise People, The Muse, and Red Booth.
New Hire Packet
When I initially began consulting at Diligent, the HR team had a number of intertwined processes and resources that they were struggling to manage, particularly when it came to onboarding new hires.
Shortly before my time at Diligent, a former colleague had familiarized me with UsTwo, a global digital product studio, and the creative method in which they presented their benefits information to new hires and prospective candidates.
Sample from UsTwo's Benefit Guide
When Diligent was looking to incorporate an onboarding master document, I instantly saw this as an opportunity to create something similar to UsTwo’s stunning and informative benefits guide. In contrast to their guide, the new hire packet also includes general company resources and contacts.

Health Club Partnership Promotions
Blink Fitness
In 2019, Diligent decided to expand their wellness program and partner with a couple of gyms including Blink Fitness and NYSC. Below highlights my experience working on promotions for each of those gyms.
It was important that the promotional flyer for Blink Fitness be consistent with Diligent’s branding while also complementing Blink’s. I decided to display Blink’s logo on the left-hand fractal (fractals are prevalent in Diligent’s style) in conjunction with the colorful masthead image of Blink’s locker room to balance the two brands. Applying the sky blue, one of Diligent’s secondary brand colors, as the background for the body text meshed well with the masthead while reemphasizing the company brand.
NYSC
For the promotion of Diligent’s partnership with NYSC, similar to how I approached Blink’s brand representation and balance was top of mind. To ensure that the promo complimented both NYSC and Diligent, I followed a similar method as I did for Blink’s.
It was important that the masthead image be successful in drawing attention so I featured a photo of NYSC’s Flat Iron location, which is beautifully decorated. The orange and slightly purple undertones went well with Diligent’s central brighter red brand color used in the fractal. As I did with Blink’s promo, I used a secondary brand color for the body text background, Diligent’s bluish-gray, which contrasted well with the use of the brighter red and masthead undertones.
Employee Avatars
As part of Diligent’s marketing and PR strategy to become more visible within the tech space, Diligent focused on developing a more robust employer brand that would showcase both their staff and values. After drawing inspiration from cyber-security company Cloudflare, they decided to feature each employee photo on their careers/team page in order to give prospective clients and candidates a better sense of who they are.
In collaboration with the marketing design team, I developed and designed the above avatars for staff members who did not wish to have their photo visible on the website.
For these avatars, we wanted to ensure that we not only stayed on brand but also further drove forward the importance of Diligent's values.
